Turks and Caicos Islands — June, 2007

Providenciales is the capital of The Turks & Caicos Islands and one of the most beautiful vacation spots in the Caribbean! The islands are located about 575 miles southeast of Miami, right next to the Bahamas.

Bryan, Kathy & I decided that this was the place for us this year and American Airlines flew us right to it!!

We rented a villa called Crystal Sands. It was located right on the beach, in a small cove, surrounded by the most crystal clear water (hence the name).

Every time you opened your eyes and looked out, the views were magnificent.

We rented a jeep and away we went!

At one point we even found ourselves driving toward a water spout.

But most of the time we found ourselves reading, writing or...

...just hanging out in the water.

We took a boat ride over to Little Water Cay...

...aka Iguana Island.

We did a little drinking...

...and then a little more drinking.

We managed to put together a puzzle.

And of course saw lots of great sunsets!

But only one ghost ship!!!
